Lou Eves Memorial Scholarship

The Northeast Cincinnati Chamber will present the Lou Eves Memorial Scholarship ($2,000) to a deserving student who meets one of the following criteria:

1. 2011 high school graduate who resides in the Mason, Kings, or Little Miami School Districts, or attends the Warren County Career Center or Mars Hill Academy and has been accepted to either a two- or four- year college degree program in business or commerce; or
   
   
2. is a family member of a chamber member in good standing and has been accepted to either a two- or four- year college degree program in business or commerce; or
   
   
3. is currently a business or commerce student of any of the following educational institutions: Art Institute Ohio – Cincinnati, Butler Tech, DeVry University, Great Oaks Institute of Technology, ITT Technical Institute, Miami University Voice of America Learning Center, Raymond Walters College, Sinclair Community College Courseview Campus, Strayer University, Warren County Career Center

Students must submit a Scholarship Application Form, a 250-word essay and two recommendations to the Chamber by April 29, 2011. The essay should clearly state the applicant's interest in business or commerce and his/her goals within this arena.

In addition to this Scholarship Application, two (2) Recommendation Forms must be completed (no relatives). These forms must be submitted to the Chamber Office directly from the individuals completing them. These forms must be received by April 29, 2011.
